Hyde Park Cantonese Fellowship 2013 Fall Kick Off

Greetings to everyone,

Please come to join our first fellowship of 2013 Fall. Hyde Park Cantonese Fellowship (HPCF) is a place where Cantonese speaking youngsters spiritually grow together under the name of Jesus through bible studies, family gatherings and different outdoor activities. We also serve each other and build friendship in Christ.

Cantonese home-made food will be served always. New students or friends are very welcome. For our old friends and alumni, you are always part of our family. We hope to see you and have fellowship together.

When: 8/24 (Sat), 7 to 10pm.

2013 Labor Day Retreat (8/30 to 9/1) -- 忠於召命

營會日期：   Aug 30 (Fri) to Sept 1 (Sun), 2013

Location: Camp Tejas

營會目的：      

1. 讓參加者認識呼召的真諦；

2. 誠實地對自己作出鑑賞評估並忠於自己；

3. 並讓參加者明白如何在現階段實現呼召。

We will celebrate mid-autumn festival together at Edwin's house this Friday night (9/28). Come and join us to enjoy the full moon while eating moon cakes and 湯圓.

We will order food from a Chinese restaurant. Pls. confirm your attendance by Thursday.

Volunteering at Capital Area Food Bank

How's everybody doing? Spending too much time on work and school stuff? Feeling like it's time to do something different? Let's come out to our fall 2012 social service event and contribute to the community! HPCF will be volunteering at Capital Area Food Bank(CAFB) this semester to help out with sorting donations and pack food for the needed ones. We plan to have lunch together on Saturday 9/22 at 12pm at Chick-fil-A, and then head to CAFB afterward. This is a good opportunity to socialize as well as to help out the needed hungry people, you don't want to miss it! Please contact Kevin Kei or Welson Kwan if you need a ride or have any questions, and there will be not fellowship at church on Friday (9/21) night.
